Emily’s Wedding Hair at Chicheley Hall
I had the loveliest morning getting Emily and her bridal party ready for her wedding at the beautiful Chicheley Hall in Buckinghamshire.
Emily chose one of my most requested bridal hairstyles, a sleek half-up, half-down style finished with soft, bouncy waves. It was the perfect mix of timeless glamour and a modern feel.
Emily already has gorgeous, shiny hair with plenty of length, but we wanted to create a little extra volume and fullness to complete her look. At her bridal hair preview, we tried out extensions and colour matched them to her natural hair. This meant we could get the blend just right, creating a seamless finish with that extra touch of glamour.
Her dress, personalised veil and finished hairstyle all came together beautifully. It was such a pleasure to be part of Emily’s wedding morning and spend time with her and her lovely bridal party.
Thank you, Emily, for choosing me to be part of such a special day.
Lauren’s Wedding Hair at Tip Top Venues, Milton Keynes
Lauren knew she wanted a textured low bridal bun, and at her bridal hair preview, we worked together to create a style that felt like her while bringing her bridal vision to life.
At her hair preview we made little tweaks to get the shape, texture and details just right for the wedding day. We were both so happy with how it came together, and it suited Lauren beautifully.
On the morning of the wedding, I joined Lauren at her friend’s house to get her ready before she headed off to celebrate with John at Tip Top Venues in Newton Longville, Milton Keynes.
Bridal buns can be tailored in so many ways to suit your individual style. Whether you love soft, textured details or something more sleek, a low bun or a high updo, your wedding hair should feel personal to you and complement your overall bridal look.
Congratulations to Lauren and John! I’m so glad you had such a wonderful day, and it was a pleasure to be part of it.
Ellie’s Wedding Hair at Sopwell House, St Albans in Hertfordshire
When Ellie came for her bridal hair preview, she was torn between a half-up style and a low bun. Her main concern was whether wearing her hair half up might get in the way throughout the day.
With naturally thick, long hair, we wanted to make the most of her beautiful length while keeping it away from her face. After talking through both options and trying things together, we found the perfect fit, a sleek half-up, half-down bridal hairstyle with soft, flowing waves.
The combination of a sleek finish around her face and soft waves through the lengths gave Ellie the look she wanted, while keeping her hair away from her face.
One of my favourite parts of a bridal hair preview is helping brides turn “I’m not quite sure what I want” into “that’s exactly it!”
Sam’s Wedding Hair at The Five Bells, Stanbridge
Sam knew from the start that she wanted Hollywood waves for her wedding day, but she was conscious that she didn’t want too much volume through the crown or a dramatic side parting.
At Sam’s bridal hair preview, we worked together to tailor the style to suit her features, trying different parting placements and seeing how they framed her face. We settled on a soft side parting with a gentle sweeping fringe, giving her the timeless Hollywood waves she loved while keeping the overall look soft and flattering.
It was such a pleasure to create Sam’s wedding hair. She looked beautiful, and it was great to hear that she had the loveliest day celebrating with her family and friends.
Bridal hair isn’t just about recreating a style; it’s about adapting it to help you feel your most confident and beautiful.
